Mrs. Maddox holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. Ms. Maddox has been a National Accredited Veterans Service Officer (VSO) with over 25 years of claims experience, serving as an Accredited VSO for several congressionally chartered Veterans Service Organizations and the Virginia Department of Veterans Affairs.
She has also worked as a Child Support Enforcement Supervisor, Hearings and Legal Services Manager for DMAS, and an Institutional Rehabilitation Counselor. She has served as a Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) for the United States Marine Corp assisting wounded, ill, and injured service members by developing a Comprehensive Recovery Plan (CRP). Mrs. Maddox has a comprehensive knowledge of the Disability Evaluation System as well as benefits and resources available to our Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, and their families.
She is the Co-Founder for the Lynchburg Area Veterans Council and the Piedmont Area Veterans Council which are 501(C)3 organizations that assist veterans and their family members. She served in the US Army.
