About Janine Ratcliffe

Janine comes to Herndon Law, P.C. with a diverse background.  She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine and spent 13 years as a licensed veterinary technician where she cared for animals, and the families that love them.  Janine also volunteered her time and expertise to help animals and people during hurricane Harvey.

Driven by a deep passion for helping others, Janine went back to school and earned a degree in mortuary science. She worked as a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 9 years, including work through the Covid pandemic. It was during this time that Janine witnessed how the death of a family member without proper estate planning can impact the surviving family members.

Janine now serves as paralegal in the estate planning practice area of Herndon Law, P.C.  where she helps individuals prepare for the inevitable with a proper estate plan.

In her spare time, Janine loves spending time with her pets, thrifting, practicing yoga, and quality time with her significant other.
