Bonnie works part-time for Herndon Law, P.C. Prior to doing so, she enjoyed a career in Human Resources and her work in Social Services at a retirement community in Michigan where she worked for 12 years. Bonnie retired to take care of her loving husband who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease.

Bonnie is proud of her three amazing children and two grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, walks in nature, and volunteering, as well as taking classes at the Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield.

Susan

Susan
Legal Assistant

Susan graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BA in Psychology and a Master of Education.  Before working part-time for Herndon Law, P.C., Susan’s career in education spanned 30 years.  She continues her work in this field as a part-time consultant to an educational technology firm focusing on improving literacy.  Susan is drawn to the elder law field because of her personal experiences with implementing long term care planning for her father, assisting her mother with estate planning and the difficult task of estate administration after her passing.

In Susan’s spare time, she loves using her camera to capture beauty in unexpected places, spending time with her family, and NCAA sports with her three adult sons.  Go Vols and Wahoowa!

Stephanie

Stephanie is a retired teacher from Virginia Beach where she taught Pre-Kindergarten – Third grade.  Currently, Stephanie works part-time for Herndon Law, P.C. as a legal assistant.  She’s also Sheryl Herndon’s sister.

When Stephanie is not working at Herndon Law, she enjoys taking care of her amazing parents.  Stephanie is also blessed with three adult children, one of which is in the Air Force, stationed in Okinawa.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Charlie, at their West Virginia property.
